LuthandoGroup LTD

  • LuthandoGroup Nurture Homes (we) offer a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people. The homes are designed to provide a sense of security and belonging, which is crucial for our service users’ emotional and psychological well-being.

  • We provide clinically informed therapeutic support to address the complex needs of the children. This includes trauma-informed care, crisis interventions, and ongoing mental health support from qualified professionals.

  • Subject to single or mixed-gender placements for children aged 12 to 18. These homes feature three beds and maintain a minimum of 1:1 staffing levels

  • Each child receives a personalised care plan tailored to their specific needs. These plans are developed using trauma-informed practices and Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) principles to ensure that each child receives the appropriate support and interventions
  • The homes work closely with local schools and educational institutions to ensure that each child has access to quality education. This includes support for attending school, tutoring, and assistance with educational planning.

  • We focus on helping children and young people develop essential life skills. This includes teaching independence, self-care, and social skills to prepare them for adulthood.

  • Comprehensive health assessments and ongoing medical care are provided to address any physical health needs. This includes ADHD specialist support, access to general practitioners, specialists, and mental health professionals.

  • Nurture Homes encourage positive relationships with family members and the wider community. This includes facilitating contact with family, organising community activities, and promoting social inclusion. If needed, we support Supervised Contact for cases in Court or sensitive/vulnerable stages

  • The staff at Nurture Homes are highly qualified and experienced in working with children and young people with complex needs. They come from diverse professional backgrounds, including social work, nursing, education, and psychology, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

  • Nurture Homes adhere to the regulations and standards set by OFSTED and CQC. This includes regular inspections and continuous improvement to ensure the highest quality of care.
